Conor Hadlington has been appointed general manager of Conrad Hong Kong, effective 28 September 2026. The appointment was announced on 16 October.

His career

Originally from the United Kingdom, Conor Hadlington brings about 18 years of experience in luxury hotels across Asia, the United States and the Middle East. He has worked with Mandarin Oriental, InterContinental and Shangri-La.

He began his career in food and beverage before moving into commercial roles and then into hotel-wide leadership. His record covers revenue performance, team development and guest experience.

At Conrad Hong Kong, he oversees operations, commercial strategy and the execution of the brand's standards.

The hotel

Conrad Hong Kong is a 513-room hotel in Pacific Place, in the Admiralty district. It belongs to Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Hilton's luxury brand, which counts 35 properties across more than five continents.

The signal

Hilton has chosen a general manager with a commercial background for one of its large city hotels in Asia. In a hotel of this size, rooms, events and restaurants all have to perform at once, and the general manager is expected to read the market as much as run the house.

Congratulations to Conor Hadlington on his new role.
