Evok Collection has appointed Francesca Tozzi general manager of Brach Roma. She has been in post since 1 October 2026 and leads the hotel's pre-opening. The appointment was announced on 21 October.

The hotel

Brach Roma is due to open in the first quarter of 2027, according to Evok Collection. It occupies a former school building of about 5,000 square metres in the historic centre of Rome, a few steps from the Tiber and 100 metres from Piazza del Popolo.

The hotel will have 58 rooms and suites, many with terraces, a rooftop, a restaurant with a patio and an Italian bar, and a Sport & Wellness Club with a 25-metre pool. Philippe Starck provides the art direction, as he did for Brach Paris.

The group

Evok Collection, co-founded in 2014 by Pierre Bastid, Romain Yzerman and Emmanuel Sauvage, runs Nolinski Paris, Brach Paris and other addresses in France and Italy. Brach Roma takes the Brach concept, which mixes a hotel, a restaurant and a sports club, to a second capital.

The signal

Appointing a general manager months before opening shows how much a launch now depends on the team built before the first guest arrives. In Rome, Brach will compete on its restaurant and club as much as on its rooms.

Congratulations to Francesca Tozzi on her new role.
